this past week has felt like a strange vacation. school starts tomorrow and i can't say that im nervous. it should be fun. i dont miss la. i miss sherman oaks, disneyland on my moms birthday, omars excitement over his new car,my friends, et cetera. its fine though, im still lucky. i have plums and more.

there's a cookie cake in the window display of mrs.field's located on the first floor of the sherman oaks westfield shopping center that reads "Happy Birthday Tara." It's adorned with balloons too. It wasn't coincidental.

Yana's mom, Svetka, or Claire for everyone else, praised me to the high heavens yesterday. I feel a little guilty because it wasn't wholly deserved, at all, but it's okay. I like her.

My brother has made the difficult transition from cardboard box to Ford F150 with a dvd player. I'm proud of him for being relatively level headed.

If all else fails I'll sell my cardboard cards, but only in two forms: one with fur trim, the other without.
